Is the SON making you FREE?<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Some of the most beautiful truths in scripture are the treasures hidden just below the surface of the words that we read…waiting for the searcher and seeker to catch a glimpse of its glory and uncover its eternal depths…It does not matter how many times you have read through the bible, if you will A<\/strong>sk, it will be given unto you, if you S<\/strong>eek, you shall find, and if you K<\/strong>nock, the door will be opened unto you!!!<\/p>\n Many times I have heard this scripture misquoted\u00a0and it is such a beautiful truth on the surface…but deeper still is yet another beautiful revelation of GODS work in us….<\/p>\n John.8<\/a><\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n [32<\/strong>] And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free<\/strong>.<\/p>\n How many times have you heard this verse as “set you free” and not “make you free”? The true meanings here get lost in the many translations of the bible that are inundating Christianity today.\u00a0 Set you free indicates that you are instantly and forever loosed from the chains that held you!\u00a0 JESUS’ work on the cross did indeed set us free from the bonds of sin that we should no longer serve sin…but the scripture is indicating an effort on our part…<\/p>\n Making free indicates a process….HIS work, HIS blood, HIS grace, broke the chains, but we HAVE TO WALK OUT OF THE PRISON….it paid for us to ENTER into the race…BUT WE HAVE TO RUN TO OBTAIN THE PRIZE…Love does conquer all, BUT WE HAVE TO LET it have its redeeming WORK in our lives….<\/p>\n As we yield our selves to the SPIRIT more and more, we will less and less yield to the flesh, and the work of JESUS blood that purifies, protects, and provides will perform its work in the YIELDED believer.<\/p>\n JESUS did not break the bonds of sin, death, and destruction so we could have freedom to stay in them…but that we would now have the freedom to walk in HIS way, HIS truth, HIS light and life!!!<\/p>\n Did JESUS set you free?\u00a0 You had better believe HE did!!!!!
